Shaye & Foster

Timeless, classic, Italian vibes were some of the descriptor words Shaye + Foster used when we first began planning their January 2025 wedding. Shaye had always dreamed of having a winter wedding...and boy did Georgia decide to deliver for her! Kicking off our 2025 wedding season with Shaye + Foster's wedding was one for the books, in the best way. Blending beautiful creams + whites with dark black accents, we leaned into the beauty of their venue, Summerour in Atlanta, to give the old-world, Italian textures. Orchids adorned Shaye's bridal bouquet, and they used shots of Limoncello as their seating chart, a nod to her heritage. 

Their wedding was supposed to take place on Saturday the 11th, but on Wednesday of that week, we began to see a once in a blue moon winter storm making its way to Georgia. We rarely get snow here, but by Friday, there were inches of snow paired with freezing temps, causing flights to be delayed or cancelled, roads to be shut down, and wedding vendors unable to make it to Atlanta on Saturday. The rehearsal dinner venue for Friday night cancelled, and we began the conversation of moving the wedding to Sunday. Shaye + Foster picked an incredible vendor team, all of whom were able to regroup and push the wedding to Sunday. We ended up still having snow on the ground, warmer weather, and they were even able to have their rehearsal dinner + welcome party Saturday evening. We threw a "day-ger" as they called it, and celebrated The Sheltons all weekend long.
