Jasmine & Nathanial
back to the galleries
As we went through this gallery, we could not stop swooning over the absolute gorgeous, vintage, garden vibes the portraits were giving. Jasmine + Nathanial were the kindest, most joyful to work with. We blended Persian + Christian religion into their ceremony, honoring both family's heritage and beliefs.
While Meadowlark 1939 is no longer a venue due to a devastating tornado that leveled the trees on the property not mere months after this wedding, including the 100+ year old pecan tree in the center of the ceremony lawn, we love this couple and their wedding and are so excited to share it with you. They even got matching tattoos of the ceremony tree after the tornado to signify their union and the memory of the beautiful gardens that will forever live on.
Combining dried + fresh floral, Jasmine opted for a neutral and organic color palette, with toffee, cream, blush, white, and green. I'll never forget her bouquet reveal for a couple of reasons - I was very pregnant, and her reaction was priceless.
Adorning the tree was an installation purely of baby's breath, and next to the tree was their sofreh table, full of meaningful Persian wedding traditions. They started with the Persian wedding ceremony, and then moved into the traditional Christian wedding ceremony, incorporating family and friends, and celebrating each family beautifully becoming one. Their reception took place under a sailcloth tent, and was quite the party!
