While there were many things from Sam +Caleb’s day I will not forget, the most unforgettable aspect was the Lord’s presence. I like to say this day was a “holy party” because God’s love shone through Sam and Caleb and the angels were absolutely celebrating over this union (and so were we).

Sam was a very modern bride so her floral vision was simple, airy, and yet dramatic. We paired black textures like velvet and silk with minimalist white florals. Sam’s bouquet reveal was one of my favorites. Her reaction was the sweetest and reminded me why I love what I do so much. Sam was ahead of the times with her idea to add mini disco balls throughout the tablescapes. She’s a trendsetter. Plus, lots of candles for a warm ambiance on a cool but beautiful January night.

In case you haven’t noticed with Sam + Caleb’s day so far, minimalism does not mean no detail. From custom-made signs, to personal photos, to a velvet blue couch for a pop of color in the photo backdrop it’s the little details that really brought this day together.

The ceremony decor consisted of candles down the aisle leading up to the cross, which was flanked by white pillar boxes topped with airy florals and candles. Sam + Caleb took part in communion during their ceremony.

Following the ceremony guests headed to cocktail hour for cocktails, conversation, and a coffee bar. Sam + Caleb had local Athens favorite Jittery Joe’s for guests to keep warm until dinner.

Time to eat, drink, and be merry!

Sam made the cutest dress change during the reception perfect for dancing the night away.

And they’re off!! We just loved getting to be a part of Sam + Caleb’s day! It was a joy working with them and since then they have sent us a lot of couples, which means we get to see them as guests at other weddings! How fun?!

We just love these two! Here’s to the Murphy’s!
